1. Types of Anemia

🔹 Microcytic (MCV <80): Iron deficiency, Thalassemia, Lead poisoning

🔹 Normocytic (MCV 80-100): Anemia of chronic disease, Hemolysis

🔹 Macrocytic (MCV >100): B12/Folate deficiency, Alcoholism, Liver disease

 

2. Clotting Disorders

✅ Hemophilia A (↓ Factor VIII) – Hemarthrosis, X-linked

✅ Hemophilia B (↓ Factor IX) – Christmas disease

✅ Von Willebrand Disease – Most common inherited bleeding disorder

 

3. Leukemia & Lymphoma

🩸 Acute Leukemias: ALL (children), AML (Auer rods)

🩸 Chronic Leukemias: CLL (smudge cells), CML (Philadelphia chromosome, BCR-ABL)
